Administration

John Cominsky ’85
Principal

Mr. John Cominsky graduated from Trinity after first converting to Catholicism under the influence of Trinity’s IHM Sisters. He graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a B.A. in Theology and Minors in History, Philosophy, Communications, and English. Later he earned his Masters in Theology from Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary. Mr. Cominsky has spent his career in Catholic education. He taught history and religion for 17 years at Trinity, served as Principal at Saint Joseph School, Mechanicsburg, while also teaching theology courses to sophomores and juniors at Mount St. Mary’s.  He has now returned to his Alma Mater, Trinity High School, where he stays active in the classroom teaching AP World History.

Eileen Poplaski
Vice-Principal/Director of Academics

Ms. Eileen Poplaski is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.  She earned a B.A. in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland in 1984 and spent five years working in government relations in Washington, DC before returning to Pennsylvania where she earned an MA in History as well as her Social Studies certification from Shippensburg University.  She also holds an Pennsylvania Administrator’s certificate after completing additional graduate courses through Marywood University.  She taught for 13 years at Bishop McDevitt where she also served as Social Studies Department Chair before coming to Trinity as Vice Principal/Director of Studies in 2005.  In addition to serving on the Administrative team, Ms. Poplaski teaches AP US History.  Her son, Nicholas is a member of the Trinity Class of 2019.

Richard Gagliano
Director of Students

Mr. Richard Gagliano grew up outside of New York City and attended Clarion University where he earned his B.S. in Communications. He pursued a career in the Army and served as a Military Policeman in South Korea and Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Gagliano worked in Campus Law Enforcement at both Dickinson College and York College achieving the rank of Captain before his tenure at Trinity. He joined the Trinity family in February of 2013 as the Dean of Students. He has coached youth football at Holy Name of Jesus for 5 years and enjoys being the JV Head coach and Linebacker coach at Trinity.

Susan Kuk, IHM
Director of Student Activities

Sister Susan Marie Kuk is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from Immaculata, PA.  Sister holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Randolph Macon Woman’s College, an M.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin, an M.A. in Education from Fairfield University and an Ed.D in Education from Nova University.  She has 54 years teaching and administration experience: 16 years as principal in Miami, Trenton and Philadelphia and 18 years as Activities Director.  Sister has conducted mission trips in Ecuador and Jamaica for over 14 years.  She has taught math for her entire 54 year career and has taught physics for 10 years.  Presently at Trinity, she is teaching Trigonometry and moderating Stage Crew and Activity Representatives.
